HaberSLAM's History

HaberSLAM records was founded in 2006 by industry insiders, seeking a fresh approach to the entire idea of an independent label. Catering to some of the newest talents in underground metal and industrial, as well as ambient and electronic, music scenes, HaberSLAM is committed to the asistance of the artists signed from the earliest stages in their careers, to stadium-filling sellout performances. At any level, HaberSLAM's goal is a move towards building a symbiotic relationship with each and every member of the HaberSLAM family. With changing paradigms in the 21st century, especially concerning the music industry, HaberSLAM records is dedicated to the full potential of all its artists in every arena they seek to challenge themselves within.

Offering an entire suite of services to new, and up-and-coming artists, fresh approaches can placed on the stagnant "format" that is a marked characteristic of the business strategies of the record industry, especially at the end of the 20th century. The old strategies for both promotion and recording are slowly eroding, and giving way to an entirely new era in the music industry. HaberSLAM records stands at the forefront, spearheading an entirely new concept of music, and its relationship to the new millenium's economic and artistic frontiersHaberSLAM is no compromises, with an all-encompassing passion for building a strong relationship with its artists and performers. The company is poised at the threshold of a new dawn in the music industry,

and welcomes all those seeking to join in the pioneering spirit the company was founded upon, to accompany us into this new environment.

If you would like to send HaberSLAM a demo of your band, your solo project, or a band or musician you are representing, please submit your demo taking into account the following guidelines:

The Demo Policy

HaberSLAM listens to EVERY demo it receives, This being said, there is a demand and volume of requests being sent, and this situation can create a backlog of demos for A&R to review, and make decisions concerning follow-up on. Essentially, as HaberSLAM's A&R department is given a large task of screening all applicants, individual submissions will be reviewed, and contacted upon raising the interest of HaberSLAM's A&R manager. Due to a large workload, it can take some time to get in touch with bands and artists. Do not consider this a rejection.

Suggestions and Submission Requirements

HaberSLAM records does NOT accept "on-line" demo submissions, nor e-mail demo submissions. Only physical disks or casettes will be eligible for review. In order to expedite your submission's review, compact disks are, obviously, the desired format. No vinyl, .mp3s, DATs, etc. Also, please include any and all contact information (phone number, e-mail address, mailing address, URL), in your submission package, so that a representative can get in touch with you if your submission is of particular interest.

Where to Send Your Submission

Regardless of your physical location, please send your promo/press kit, as well as recording to:
